Dean David G and Becki Rendell
Dean first started dancing in his earlier teens when he discovered 'Break Dancing' and 'Street Dance'. It was around this time that he also joined a gymnastics club - going on to win numerous National medals.
When dean was 18 years old he was dragged to a Salsa lesson and like so many others he became instantly hooked.
Through pure hard work, dedication and natural talent he has since won a few titles such as: European Salsa Team Champion in 2006 and London Latinfest winner in 2007.
Dean is proud to have developed his talents whilst working/performing with some of the UK's greatest Latin dancers including Lee & Shelley, Laith Sami, Mark & Lisa and Fritha Fallon. He has also worked with stars from 'Strictly Come Dancing' & 'So You Think You Can Dance' appearing himself on television in 2007 and 2009.
Dean teaches Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Cha Cha Cha and Rueda and has six Latin shows that he has choreographed himself. He still goes to his gymnastic club regularly as this maintains his core strength and helps him stay super supple. Dean uses his gymnastic skills to take new dance 'tricks' to the next level when practising with his Becky.
More recently since Dean has teamed up with the beautiful Becki, he has begun to dance Modern Jive and assists Becky in her classes.
Dean loves teaching and knows that simple clear communication is key to his students understanding his instruction and enjoying his classes.
Dean has taught/performed all over the UK and parts of Europe.
Becki started dancing at real early age and has a background in Line Dancing, Modern Jive, Salsa, Cha Cha Cha, Bachata, Merengue and Rueda. More recently she enjoys the high energy of teaching Zumba.
Becki has competed in shows and competitions both nationally and internationally in Ceroc and has even found the time to run her own dance performance team ‘Danza Comigo’. She is also the resident Ladies Styling teacher at the Ceroc Escape events.
Now in Collaboration Dean & Becki are bringing a NEW fusion to the dance floor that introduces a dynamic edge. With her experience and love of Salsa & Ceroc a unique style they have called Salceroc (Salsa inspired moves danced to Ceroc timing) has now been created.
Their new show is called ‘Fusion’ which is a combination of Cha Cha Cha, Salsa & Modern Jive. It is of course very fun upbeat and PINK! The new Show they are currently working on is a mixture of Bachata & Tango and it really shows their naughty side.
