Located in Hengrove, South Bristol, the Imperial Sports Ground (formerly South Bristol Sports Centre) is the venue for our weekly Salsa and Latin classes on Monday evenings.

The Imperial Sports Ground is located just off the A37 on the border of Hengrove and Brislington, South Bristol and is home to our Monday Evening Salsa Classes and our bi-monthly Salsa & Latin party nights.

To find us on a Monday evening, when you enter the reception area, you will see a set of stairs to the right, go up these stairs, and we are in the room on the left, opposite the entrance to the gym.

If you are driving, parking isn’t usually a problem as there are several on-site car parking areas that are floodlit and are monitored by cameras. If you are travelling by public transport, you can take several bus routes. Although it is always worth making your own inquiries before travelling, the number 2 and 2A routes pass directly outside the venue and the 376 and 172 stops on the main A37.

You may be pleased to learn the Pizza and Panini menu is available until 9 pm, and a fully stocked cheaper bar is on the ground floor.

There is also an overflow car park - the entrance is on Hither Bath Bridge, which is a road adjacent to the sports centre, and the entrance is almost immediately on the left (again). Please note that this car park closes early, around 10 pm, so please check with staff if you are staying later.
