Next beginners courses start Thursday 21st June 2012.
Salsa is suitable for just about everyone regardless of your age shape or size. Presently, We have people in our classes aged from 20 - 71. It can help stimulate you mentally and physically (many of our students have lost weight and toned muscle), it is a potential aid to physiotherapy and for many it gives a great social life.
You may find the answer to some of your questions on the FAQ page (frequently asked questions) but if not and you would like to speak to someone in person about these courses and whether or not they would suit you; ring Wayne on 07985 609912 or send an email to

If you have attended any kind of course in the past where you have had to learn something you will know, 'not all teachers are the same' and we pride ourselves on having 'unique' teaching methods. If you want to learn in a simplistic, safe and fun environment then Salsabristol have the hand-picked teachers for you.
Following the growth and development of our classes we have come to the stage where we need to re-vamp the structure of the higher classes. The standard of the student has risen so much over this past year that we have now employed a new teacher to teach at a higher level. Therefore we have to lose the Jumpers level 3 class and swap this with an Intermediate class. Times and structure of classes are listed below. |

Bachata - Tango A new 8 week course with Misael Espinosa Cordero Starts: Thursday 21st June 2012 Time 7.30-8.30pm (two Salsa classes follow after) Cost £45 for the whole 8 weeks (attend the two salsa classes for an additional £4)
Many of our pupils have asked for a Bachata - Tango course and during our 7.30pm slot with Misael Cordero we tend to try different genres to make you a holistic dancer, someone that doesn't have to sit out when for example a Cha Cha Cha, Bachata or in this case a Bachata - Tango track is played.

Improvers classes/course £45 (£6 per class or £61 for two simultaneous courses) Time 8.30 - 9.30pm. This includes a 45min lesson and 15 mins freestyle.
This eight week course is designed to follow on from the Jumpers level two course. Focus remains on technique but we start to look at ever increasing in difficulty patterns and routines. It goes without saying that the technique becomes more complicated and more attention is needed. The pace of these classes speed up further as we take out mambos between moves therefore cutting down thinking time and fast BPM music is played.

Our next beginners course starts on Thursday 21st June 2012 and you are invited to register your interest now. Please be warned that courses can fill very quickly and you are much more likely to get a place on the course if you have someone who is prepared to learn the 'Lead' steps. The emphasis on our classes is to have a fun social evening whilst learning the hot Latin dance that is......Salsa! Although you are welcome to register if you are single, those that register with both a 'leader' and 'follower' are more likely to get on the courses. We often have women friends who register as a 'leader' and 'follower' not just couples.
