The Stunning Angelique Sinclaire

Angelique has danced since a very young age and by the age of 10 had already performed on television shows such as Saturday superstore and Tiswas.  At the tender age of 16 Angelique attended the Rubicon Dance School in Cardiff where long 10 hour days gave her a foundation in Ballet, modern, Jazz, Indian, yoga, improvision and contemporary dance.

Following on from this Angelique moved to London where she spent a year modelling before travelling the world teaching and performing dance.

It would take too long to list Angelique’s achievements, performances and awards but more can be found out about her at here http://www.seraphimdance.co.uk/. Angelique is the director of the Dance company which houses a professional troupe and a relatively new group of girls who have recently started doing shows around the country.

Now, more than ever Angelique feels she dances salsa because of her love of the music and gets a thrill from teaching both amateurs and professionals when she lights a spark in someone’s mind or brings a smile to their face.

Before partnering with Simon ( Lord Bachata ) Angelique’s last partner was Moe Flex the 2006 – 2007 Cuban teacher of the year.

Simon Ofoborh aka the Lord Bachata

Simon has been dancing since the age of eight years old when contemporary and break dancing was more his forte.

Following on from this Simon took a more serious approach to his dancing and directed and lead various projects including recreating Michael Jackson's thriller routine.  Simon's other passion of gymnastics no doubt helped hone many of his skills.

Simon took up salsa dancing in 2004 in a social aspect but soon realised there was more to salsa than just dancing socially.  In 2005 he won his first Bachata contest and was also placed in the top 3 at the British amateur salsa contest.  Simon, along with his partner Angelique, recently won the European open Bachata championships at the UK Salsa Congress.

Simon knows he still has much to achieve personally and with the dance troop he belongs to, Seraphim Dance Company.  His disciplines now include teaching Bachata, Salsa On1 and On2 as well as cha cha cha.

Simons says!!
Always remember to have fun on the dance floor!
