Saturday 28th April 2012 All day Workshops and Party! Salsa Is My Life!
Our mission statement is to provide you with top quality teaching, a variety of classes and value for your money. During the day there will be three separate dance rooms operating, each has a wooden floor, seating, own music systems and air conditioning. There will be at least 24 workshops running so you can attend any eight of your choice. The venue is easy to find being just off the North Ring Road surrounding Bristol (accessed directly from the M32). It is also directly opposite Keynsham train station and close to major bus routes. There are over 500 off road secure parking places, tea/coffee is available all day as well as soft drinks, bar meals are available at lunch time and they are both affordable and recommended. If you are travelling and wanted to stay over night there are a couple of B&B's close by and hotels within a short driving distance (remember we have a new £500 million pound shopping centre which you could visit on the Sunday), and the historic and beautiful city of Bath is just ten minutes away. Your timetable will be released closer to the day but this year there are more Cuban classes and for the first time we have Burlesque and Belly Dancing on offer! Of course there will be Cross Body, Styling, Shines, Cha Cha Cha and other classes for you to try. Your teachers include Nationals and Internationals: Rohan Brown, Mauricio Reyes, Misael Espinosa Cordero, Femi Otukoya, Shirene Solak, Alex Fright, Wayne & Aga, Susan Hacking and Neville Ashman. As already mentioned; Our aim is to bring good quality teaching at affordable costs. These all day workshops aim to cater for the Improver dancer through to the most Advanced dancer. With three dance floors running throughout the day offering around 24 workshops, it shouldn't be too hard!
There will be a stall with Salsa, Bachata and reggaeton CD's for sale including some of the most recent released from Cuba! We are hoping for a shoe retailer, and if you are fortunate enough to be in the position of joining the group travelling to Cuba this year, someone will be available to disscuss this and take deposits!
