Miguel Rico & Mayana are regarded as one of the UK's most passionate and respected dancers and teachers of Salsa.

Miguel Rico:
Corona Salsa Champion 2001, Scala Latina Salsa Champion 2003 and UK Salsa Champion 2006-2007 are some of his rewards and achievements since he started this amazing journey 7 years ago. His experience and knowledge makes him stand out. His personality is contagious.

Miguel music interpretation is a gift from both of his musician parents and that is really what makes him stand out in his performances and freestyle.

Mayana:
Mayana's love for dance started at an early age, she followed her heart and went to study at the Dance Academy where she studied everything from traditional dances to contemporary. She continued dancing and teaching various styles until she found Salsa. In 2007 she became the UK Professional Salsa Champion. She has trained & performed with the Duende Dance Company.

What really makes her unique its her dance style where she combines all the knowledge she has of the various dances, creating her own signature which portraying her as an elegant dancer.

Miguel's & Mayana's shows are simply breathtaking. their unique style where they both combines Miguel's flavour & charisma and Mayana's playfulness & elegance.

Their shows bring passion and energy into the dance floor inviting the audience to feel the music through their bodies.

Their new show "Mi Borinquen" won them UK Salsa Professional Competition in 2007 and in 2008 "Descarga Musical" took the UK by storm. The year 2009 brought their brand new show "Mambo Mania" a fusion of old Mambo & Jazz.

Teachers:
On numerous occasions Miguel & Mayana have taught and performed Internationally and they have taken part in European Salsa Congresses and Festivals, always bringing fun, relaxed and supportive atmosphere into their classes.
