IT'S CHRISTMAS!

Improver's/Intermediate lessons (main room)

We don't have our usual rooms tonight but as we do every Christmas we are partying in 'The Lodge' which is the building you pass on your left on your way to the car park. Don't worry, it's still a great place to party and we've used it for the past four Christmases. It has its own fully stocked cheap bar, plenty of seating with tables, great sound system, air conditioning and it will be all decorated to get you in the Christmas spirit.

How else can we add to make this a great party? Well, lets chuck in our resident DJ Tiny Tim. Tim has been with us from the very beginning (which is over 5 years) and not once have we ever thought about hiring another full time DJ. Every month Tim keeps the dance floor packed with all the latest releases as well as all your old favourites. The thing we like about Tim the most is that he isn't afraid to try something new, so many times we have been to parties to hear the same old tunes played over and over again, you won't get that with Tim behind the decks!

OK lets add another ingredient to our Christmas cocktail. How about one of our own instructors taking two beginners classes; One in Cross-body Salsa and the other a beginners Rueda. If you want to bring along a friend to show them not only what you have learnt at your weekly classes but also what they have been missing then now is as good a time as any. The first class will be a basic Salsa class. All the basic steps will be taught along with a short routine that can be taken to the dance floor. The second class will be a beginners Rueda. Have you ever seen a group of dancers dancing in a circle and wondered what they were doing, how the moves are both called and executed? Well here's your chance to to have your first experience. As mentioned Rueda is danced in a circle by a group of dancers, one person or 'lider' calls out the moves and the whole group executes those calls. The fun really begins as partners are swapped from one person to another and the tempo rises. You can normally work out who has gone wrong as one person will normally end up with two or even three partners instead of the just one!

Places are limited for these classes due to space.

Last but not least, we have one of the biggest Latin stars in the World, yes the World, the one and only Mr Moe Flex! We have worked with Moe on numerous occasions and we can never get enough of him. His love for dance and teaching is an inspiration to all and cannot fail but to rub off onto his students. Although Moe has worked with the likes of Madonna, 50 Cent, Justin Timberlake and Craig David he still takes the greatest satisfaction from watching students improve and experiment trying out the techniques and moves that he has taught them.

People travel from all over to attend one of Moe's classes and you would be well advised not to miss his classes tonight. One Cuban Salsa class, one Rueda (some experience needed).

Moe really is a party maker and he is well known for his animation (he shows, you copy), you can guarantee that sometime throughout the night he will take a line up of his much loved Reggaeton!
