Dips & Tricks workshop with Dean David G Sunday 3rd July 2011
Have you ever wanted to learn dips & tricks but have never had the chance to do more than the odd class here and there? We are holding a whole day of workshops with Dean David G, one of the few instructors qualified to teach dips & tricks and also one who knows enough of them to teach a whole days worth. Learn moves such as: arm drop, moving split twist, rear leg hook dip, sitting twist dip, shoulder drop, hip catch and the man's matrix. There will be two intermediate tricks taught but only for those judged as of high enough standard by the instructor on the day: the death drop and the leg lift. These moves will be taught at a safe slow pace to ensure everyone understands the necessary techniques needed to execute the moves. Both 'Lead' and 'Followers' techniques will be taught. You do not have to be of above reasonable fitness or strength to attend these workshop but you should be injury free and avoid the classes if you suffer from a bad back. If you are in any doubt, consult your doctor first. Tickets will be available on the door!
