Will I be fit enough?
People from all walks of life attend salsa classes and
courses. If you think for any reason you may have a problem,
please consult your doctor before enrolling. People with
average fitness should be fine.
Do I need a partner?
The simple answer is no. Classes are structured so that
people rotate throughout. This is normal in most styles of
dance for many reasons. For example, it provides a great
ice-breaker and allows you to meet people you may wish to
dance with at Latin parties, everyone needs to learn to lead
or follow different individuals and this starts in the
classroom and of course many people come alone.
